The course is designed to provide for managers and care support workers an
introduction to the basic skills required when caring for individuals who have
suffered from a stroke and require care and rehabilitation.- Who should attend?
All staff who deliver or plan care directly.

∇ Understand the symptoms of a stroke
∇ Understand recent methods of management
∇ Learn more about methods of rehabilitation∇ The ten point plan

- This training is not limited in numbers.
Equivalent Relevant information
1. Certificates are issued for each learners and if dated, are valid to that period. N.B Learners attending
must complete the entire duration of the training to qualify for a certificate.
2. A learner assessment may be required post training for audit and PDP purposes.
