Steve qualified as a psychiatric nurse in 1984 and was manager of a 45 bedded mental health nursing care home until 1991 when, with a team of nurses, started INCARE SERVICES. In the early years they specialised on support and consultancy. His specialist area is drug and alcohol awareness and mental health , but with over 32 years experience he understands the care sector and how it functions. Steve absolutely loves his customers and, as a self confessed workaholic, has refused rehab on many occasions, preferring instead to reply to your emails 24/7!

Carol has been working in her current role with INCARE for over 16 years. She manages all the post training administration and taking care of your administrative issues is never too much trouble for her.

Ewa is a truly passionate Health & Social Care Trainer and Manual Handling Assessor with extensive experience and proven expertise in First Aid Basic Life Support, Personal Care and Support, Mental Health Services and Safeguarding Vulnerable Adults. She specialises in planning and delivering innovative and strategic training inductions to improve and develop key knowledge and skills of staff. We all worship her for having excellent communication skills and a calm and resilient manner!

Janey Vaughan RN

Previously a teacher, Janey returned to University to train as a nurse over 20 years ago. Worked in care home management both in the U.K and the USA. Janey has extensive clinical knowledge. She has gained the position of clinical lead and is responsible for ensuring trainer information is up to date and relevant. Her style of teaching is loved by all those who have witnessed it, often hilariously funny and always able to connect to learners of all grades and abilities. She now teaches specialist clinical skills and train the trainer courses and is a natural team leader.

Dawn has been within a Dementia Care environment since she was 9 years old, as her parents owned and managed a residential care home! Having been with INCARE for many years, working in group work and skilled presentations, Dawn is a highly qualified and experienced training consultant. Recently appointed our dementia care specialist, Dawn has the most bubbly personality and makes all her training funny, energetic and full of compassion.

Jolanta is a devoted health and social care professional with 11 years of experience in caring for elderly in nursing and care homes and mentally ill people in supported living setting. She has delivered training in a wide range of subjects and NVQ apprenticeships in health and social care. She sparkles with a genuine enthusiasm and passion for training and has developed engaging methods and strategies in her delivery!

Anthony joined the team in 2017. His background is in general nursing. For almost 25 years he has been enthusiastically educating others – focused mainly across the care home and community sector. His aim as a trainer is to deliver engaging courses and transfer his passion for high quality care.

Maureen Hughes

Maureen has been involved in care for the elderly for nearly 20 years. Initially managing projects for Age Concern, she went on to managing Domiciliary Care before forming her own Day Centre and Domiciliary Care Agency. She has extensive knowledge of many aspects of elderly Social Care at all levels and now enjoys visiting various establishments imparting this knowledge as a trainer. Recently, Maureen has achieved a PG Diploma in Humanities and a Masters Degree!
